  6. Irish Eyes Poker Announce Ranking Events

    SharkRankings.com are delighted to announce the first Online Ranking games for 2012 hosted by Irish Eyes Poker.

    The tournaments will include €6, €10.50 and a weekly €33 tournament. These games will be deepstack freezeouts and will be held five nights a week on Irish Eyes poker, with the first of these games taking place on Monday, 9th January at 8:15pm and continuing every week throughout the year.

    The European Deepstack Poker Championship V in Dublin was a great success. Belgian player Christophe Vanzieleghem overcame a 590 player field to take down €53,065 (original payout €63,000 but players dealt 3 handed).

  10. WPT Comes to Ireland

    The first-ever WPT Ireland event has come and gone and left 338 entrants with a smile all over their faces, but none more than the eventual winner Dave Shallow. The inaugural event was a huge success and even the most ambitious predictions fell short of the actual interest and excitement.
